I have been making these for a while now and I LOVE them!! They are perfect for before a work-out, after a workout or a sweet treat. They are easy to make and only require 7 ingredients.
In a bowl combine dry ingredients first
1 C Oats
4 TBS Flax Seed meal (just buy flax seeds and blend them in your mixer)
3 Scoops Protein Powder, (I prefer vanilla, but have also used chocolate and cinnamon)
Then Add:
1 1/4- 1 1/2 C Natural Peanut Butter
1/4 C Honey
1/4 C Coconut Oil, melted
Mix well, then add in
Dark Chocolate Chips, or PB chips if you prefer
These will be sticky. Roll them into bite size balls. I prefer to stick them on a plate so they don't mush together, and stick in the fridge. Once they're formed stick them in an air tight container and store up to 3 weeks in the fridge. This recipe makes a big batch, but mine have never lasted that long.
